Based in Mannarkkad, in Palghat District, Kerala, the Group has played a significant role in the industrial and business environment of the State with its multifaceted businesses and multi-dimensional manufacturing enterprises. The Group’s pioneering spirit has been witnessed over three generations who have led the group to take up new businesses in tune with the needs of the times. The Pazheri Group is thus playing a major role in building enterprise across Northern Kerala and becoming a significant contributor to the socio-economic development of Kerala State in general. History of Pazheri

The passion of the Pazheri Group of Companies is to create, produce and deliver the ultimate in customer experience. This desire to offer the best that can be takes its birth long back in history, centuries ago. The promoters of the Group trace their legacy to Yemen where their forefathers were involved in the spices trade with India and primarily the port cities of Kerala like Muzuris and Calicut. According to historical records, in 642 AD Maalik Bin Dinar and entourage travelled to far-flung regions of the world including the port cities of Kerala through the trade routes, spreading the word of God. It is believed that they were the foremost propagators of Islam in Kerala. Following in their footpaths, the family of “Pazzeri” who were primarily farmers by trade came to Kerala. The word “Pazzeri” meant ‘one who sows seeds’ in Arabic. Over the years, the Arabic word Pazzeri got transformed into Pazheri in the local language.
